Abstract
The acquisition of consistent high-quality data depends heavily on a quality assessment regimen that allows a data analyst to detect and respond to problems when they occur. This is particularly true of network operations for which a large volume of data must be summarized and assimilated. This paper describes a concept for a visual solar radiation measurement quality assessment tool that takesadvantage of current computer and printer technology. The concept allows a data analyst to more easily interpret trends in quality assessment flagging during a period of time. This concept is also a useful tool for investigating data acquisition problems.
