Abstract
Saving energy was almost as simple as flipping a switch at the Alumax, Inc., aluminum processing plant in South Carolina, resulting in an annual energy savings of more than $103,000. Reducing energy consumption was also the goal of the Motor Challenge Program's first Excellence Partner, 3M.
