title = "TROOPER: Trade Route Optimizer for Energy Resilience: A Graph-Theoretic Supply Chain Resilience Platform for Defense Energy Infrastructure",
abstract = "Operational readiness at U.S. defense installations depends on uninterrupted access to energy infrastructure hardware - large power transformers, circuit breakers, and utility poles - whose supply chains span multiple international tiers and concentrate in geopolitically sensitive regions. TROOPER is a graph-theoretic supply chain analysis platform developed at NLR that traces trade transactions back-to-back from an end-user all the way to the mines, fully unpacking a product's multi-tier supply chain network to identify critical nodes, assess transparency, and quantify resilience under disruption scenarios. Five network centrality metrics - giant connected component (GCC), betweenness, closeness, degree, and eigenvector centrality - locate single points of failure; a traceable transparency method scores every supply chain branch; Monte Carlo simulation produces quantitative resilience distributions; and combined tariff and marine-route distance scoring ranks each sourcing pathway. This poster presents TROOPER's analytical architecture and its application to defense-critical energy hardware.",
