Abstract
This brief showcases several planning and design tools developed for the solar energy community by scientists at NREL using information from the National Solar Radiation Data Base (NSRDB). These tools include a CD-ROM containing solar radiation and other relevant data for a 'typical' year, and two data manuals (one for buildings and one for flat-plate and concentrating collectors) customized fordesigners and planners of solar energy systems and buildings.
