Abstract

The Renewable Electric Plant Information System (REPiS) database, developed and recently updated by NREL, is a highly accessible and useful source of information on almost 104,000 megawatts of renewable energy generation capacity connected to the utility grid. As described in this brief, REPiS provides plant and capacity information on all the renewable energy technologies. Energy planners andanalysts, policy makers, and others needing complete, accurate data on renewable energy will want to obtain this brief.
