Abstract

Photovoltaic technology is established as a reliable source of electricity in small, out-of-the-way applications. Today, this technology is looming larger in public awareness as systems are installed in large urban centers. A range of techniques is under development, ranging from the tried-and-true single-crystal silicon to materials rolled out in sheets.
