Abstract
The work performed in this contract was focused on two areas: an economic analysis of present manufacturing methods and the conceptualization of advanced equipment. The economic analysis was built on our experience with tabbing and connecting thick cells. This experience was used to generate the cost analysis that clearly points to the improvements in yield and throughput to make PV manufacturingmore cost effective. 3 refs.
