title = "Marine Energy Supply Chain Workforce Assessment",
abstract = "The successful commercialization of marine energy technologies will depend not only on technological innovation but also on the availability of a skilled and adaptable workforce. As the industry continues to advance, there is a growing need to understand the occupations, skills, education pathways, and training programs required to support deployment, operations, and long-term industry growth. This presentation examines the workforce readiness across the marine energy value chain and highlighting areas where leveraging existing and new training and education and training investments may be advantageous. By providing a workforce-focused assessment of the emerging marine energy industry, this research offers insights for policymakers, educators, workforce development organizations, and industry leaders seeking to build a resilient talent pipeline and prepare communities for potential future marine energy deployment.",
