Abstract

The purpose of this risk management framework is to increase the likelihood of successful development of a marine and hydrokinetic (MHK) technology by addressing negative and positive uncertainties. This framework emphasizes design and risk reviews as formal gates to ensure risks are managed throughout the technology development cycle.
