Abstract
This report provides overall state and national information on the quantity, availability, and costs of current and potential feedstocks for ethanol production in the United States. It characterizes end uses and physical characteristics of feedstocks, and presents relevant information that affects the economic and technical feasibility of ethanol production from these feedstocks. The data canhelp researchers focus ethanol conversion research efforts on feedstocks that are compatible with the resource base.
