Abstract

A hydrogen-based long duration storage technology will be demonstrated with ARIES-Flatirons assets for the GKN Hydrogen, a division of GKN Powder Metallurgy, HY2MEGA metal hydride storage subsystem. The project will design and execute experiments that emulate commercial use cases for load management, backup power, and grid resiliency in remote, underserved communities.
