Abstract

Orientational domain twins that are periodically stacked in the growth direction are frequently observed in spontaneously ordered GaInP2 alloys grown under special conditions. We present experimental evidence showing that the electronic and optical properties of such structures are altered from those of the uniform Cu-Pt ordered alloy.
