Abstract
This CRADA modification #19 involves analyses on a variety of CdTe-PV related materials, test structures, and solar cells produced at First Solar (FSLR) and/or NLR. Materials will be provided by FSLR, NLR, or by interleaving FSLR and NLR layers and processes. Joint polycrystalline device activities are focused on the characterization and improvement of performance limiting mechanisms including doping and the hetero-interface. A combination of growth, characterization, and theoretical modeling will be applied. This CRADA Modification #24 involves analyses on a variety of CdSe, CdSeTe, CdTe-PV related materials, test structures, and solar cells produced at First Solar (FSLR) and/or NLR.
