Abstract
This issue features a Florida corporation has joined forces with the Florida Restaurant Association to recycle used cooking oil into biodiesel. In return, the company gives 10 cents per gallon to the association's School-to-Work fund which pays for local school children's scholarships, books, and computers. Additional stories feature a Chicago oil distributor that is contributing to the city'sredevelopment efforts while recycling waste vegetable oil into biodiesel; and Coors Brewing Company of Colorado, which has collaborated with two other firms to produce more than 1.5 million gallons of cleaner-burning gasoline from beer spillover.
