Autonomous Energy Systems Functional Interoperability

Research output: NLRPresentation

Abstract

Functional Interoperability is the capability of two or more networks, systems, devices, applications, or components to externally exchange and readily use information securely and effectively in order to achieve a stated objective. Our proposition is that NREL's ARIES capability is ideal to evaluate functional interoperability by defining use case (objective) and scenarios, by integrating systems, devices, and applications in a realistic laboratory environment, and by simulating scenarios.
