Abstract
The lead story in this issue discusses the introduction by six truck manufacturers of the first fully dedicated natural gas vehicles offered by original equipment manufacturers for the medium- and heavy-duty U.S. vehicle markets. Also highlighted is the introduction by Cummins Engine Company, Inc., of its first 8.3-L natural gas engine featuring advanced electronic controls, charge-air cooling,and a water-cooled turbocharger. Three stories on recent developments in the liquefied natural gas industry round out the spring issue.
