Overview
Personal Profile
Willy Bernal Heredia joined NLR in 2015 with a focus on controls and on cosimulation tools for energy-efficient buildings. He has codeveloped MLE+, a cosimulation toolbox for design and deployment of energy-efficient buildings controls. Bernal Heredia was an intern at NLR, developing the framework to model whole-campus dynamics to coordinate and synchronize its multiple loads.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining NLR, Bernal Heredia was the lead controls engineer for Lit Motors where he focused on developing the controls for a self-balancing two-wheel electrical vehicle.
