Personal Profile
Wade Braunecker specializes in materials chemistry and macromolecular engineering concepts, which include the synthesis of polymeric materials with controlled architectures, functionalities, and compositions, as well as high-surface area polymeric framework-based materials and composites. Braunecker has led several dynamic research teams in his tenure at NLR and contributed to more than 50 published research products spanning an array of renewable energy concepts, including photovoltaic materials, next-generation batteries, hydrogen fuel storage concepts, polymeric membranes, and various carbon capture technologies.
