Ty Neises joined the Thermal Sciences Group at NLR in 2011. His work focuses on modeling and analyzing the thermal fluid performance of concentrating solar power systems and components. His recent work includes researching supercritical carbon dioxide systems for concentrating solar power applications and supporting the design of a high-pressure power tower receiver. Neises also develops and supports models for the System Advisor Model.
