Renee M. Happs is the research operations manager for Energy Materials and Processing at Scale (EMAPS) in the Materials, Chemical, and Computational Sciences Directorate. She works with the rest of the research operations team to ensure that facilities, equipment, and documentation is research ready. She also works closely with Environment, Safety, Health, and Quality team members and facility managers on a transition to full operations in EMAPS.

Happs brings over 10 years of experience as an analytical chemist and previously managed the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Facility at NLR. She also served as the Solar Energy Research Facility research operations manager until shifting to EMAPS.
