Personal Profile
Rebecca Fao joined NLR in 2019 and has been leading the laboratory and offshore R&D portfolio since 2021. Her work covers open source software development for marine energy device validation. Fao works closely with marine energy industry partners to develop validation plans for their technologies using NLR facilities, data acquisition systems, and International Electrotechnical Commission standards. She also leads the expansion and new development of research capabilities at NLR's Flatirons Campus.
