Overview
Personal Profile
Qi Xu joined NLR in 2004. His research focuses on nanobiotechnology. His main research interest is array quantum dots (QDs) on cellulose using cellulose binding modules (CBMs) and investigating their possible application pathways in energy transferring and biomaterials. His research also includes the QDs' communication and the interaction of protein and oligopeptide with QDs. His earlier research work involved construction of bacterial cellulosome system, novel CBM investigation, and plant phosphate transportor gene cloning. He has published 20 papers.
