Personal Profile
Mickey Stone’s research focuses on heterogeneous catalysis and reaction engineering for the conversion of lignin and bio-derived intermediates into value-added fuels and chemicals. More specifically, he is interested in designing and utilizing laboratory-scale reactor systems to study catalysts under realistic operating conditions with real feedstocks, enabling the development of industrially relevant processes and catalysts that are rapidly scalable.
