Overview
Personal Profile
Kelly Schutt is a director’s fellow at NLR, where he is evaluating novel perovskite X-ray scintillators and prototyping X-ray detectors for scientific and medical applications. He is also contributing to perovskite photovoltaic research at NLR.
Previously, Kelly obtained a doctorate from the University of Oxford in condensed matter physics, where his research provided stability and efficiency improvements in perovskite solar cells through improved charge selective contacts. Kelly also holds a bachelor's degree in materials science engineering from Boise State University, where he implemented super-resolution microscopy to detect errors in self-assembled arrays of DNA nanostructures.
