Personal Profile
Kae Fink is a staff researcher in NLR’s Energy Conversion and Storage Systems Center. Her current work focuses on the development of novel lithium-ion battery recycling techniques, as well component-level design and characterization of advanced battery chemistries. She has also worked closely with NLR’s industrial partners in the technical evaluation of advanced battery materials.
Prior to joining NLR, Fink’s research focused on the design of organically modified clay materials (organoclays) for targeted removal of organic and mercury contaminants from wastewater.
