Juan Catano is a senior researcher in NLR’s Advanced Building Equipment Research Group. He joined NLR in 2023. His research focuses on air conditioning, heat pumps, refrigeration, thermal energy storage, and thermal management of data centers. He leads projects ranging from modeling of early-stage technologies to laboratory experimentation of high technology readiness level systems.
