Josh Sperling leads and supports multidisciplinary research and business development focusing on underserved and urban communities, new concepts for cost and time savings or as new revenue opportunities with access to and use of emerging technologies, broad cross-sector integration of sustainable-resilient infrastructure services, and public health / community-led innovations. He supports and cultivates community around urban, behavioral, and decision science thrusts,  in integrated technology-policy-planning-behavioral-finance analysis, and early-career to startup mentoring at NLR. He has co-led work in the  built sectors of mobility, energy, water, food, buildings, parks, waste to digital as integrated infrastructure programs, partnerships, projects, and research designs.
