Overview
Personal Profile
Josh Gallon is an integral member of the Cell and Module Performance Group. He received his M.S. in applied physics from the Colorado School of Mines in 2009 under the guidance of A. Madan and P. C. Taylor. After graduating he developed experimental setups at MVSystems to aid in the study of thin film Si devices for photo-electrochemical applications. This led him to Tau Science where he was able to grow as a metrologist and develop cutting edge photovoltaic device characterization techniques and equipment. There, he worked to develop module quantum efficiency mapping and contactless electroluminescence. Currently, he develops and applies characterization techniques for a wide range of photovoltaic module technologies including perovskite and tandem modules.
