David Montgomery specializes in computational fluid dynamics, focusing on complex fluids and reacting flows. He develops algorithms for large-scale simulations on high-performance computing systems, with applications ranging from combustion of synthetic aviation turbine fuels to heterogenous nucleation of CO2 in carbon capture systems. He is always excited to learn and develop new tools to solve complex energy problems.
