Abhijit Dutta works on biorefinery analysis at NLR. Abhijit has more than 30 years of experience in process engineering, including expertise in process modeling. He led and/or contributed to analyses, detailed reports, and publications on biomass conversion, including many studies as the principal investigator for the Thermochemical Conversion Analysis task since 2008.
Research Interests
Techno-economic analysis (process model development for existing and conceptual processes, detailed heat integration, and economic analysis of integrated processes)
Integration of process simulation learnings into control strategies
Process simulator development
Custom model development for deployment in integrated models
Professional Experience
Prior to joining NLR, Abhijit worked at Bloom Energy and Aspen Technology on process control and simulator development.
